Everyone knows and loves Elizabeth Brown, or better known around Creekside as “Ms. Liz!” She is known for her warmth, her patience and her longevity at the community. With over 35 years with the company, Liz is among the longest serving staff members in the whole MRC organization. However, on October 11th, this faithful servant of MRC’s mission clocked out for the last time.
Brown began her journey with MRC in 1987 when Creekside was still known as TownCreek and was Huntsville’s newest option for area seniors. Thirty-five years later, Brown has seen the community grow significantly, now boasting a new location and an updated building. Along the way, Brown has even cared for the children of those she originally cared for decades prior.
James Logan, Executive Director, said, “Liz is an amazing individual who placed the needs of others first. She has a heart of gold and always delivered on her promises. Her promise was always to give 110%, even when times were tough. She realized that she was doing what God had directed her to do…with style, grace and love. She will be missed by her family here at Creekside and we have been Blessed with 35 plus years of her presence and dedication!”
